Baked Meatballs
(Dairy Free, Soy Free, Nut Free)

1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 large egg
1 cup of Panko Bread Crumbs
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp of onion powder
1-2 TBSP dried parsley
1-2 TBSP dried basil
salt and pepper
dash of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Preheat Oven to 425F
In large bowl, beat egg.
Add bread crumbs, garlic, onion powder, parsley, basil, salt, pepper, and cayenne.  Mix well, then add ground meat to mixture and mix with hands or spoon until all ingredients have been incorporated.  If the mixture seems too wet, you can add more bread crumbs until the right consistency.  This recipe can make 16 meatballs if you divide the mixture into four sections and then make four meatballs from each section.  Place meatballs on a nonstick cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.  Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes.  Open a meatball up after cooked to ensure it is cooked all the way through.

Meatballs can be served over noodles and sauce, in a sandwich, or by themselves.
